DESCRIPTION:  \nOur biggest heritage event of the year\, Beverly Heritage Day 2026 will focus on commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and our theme of “Building Beverly\, Building the Nation” at the event on July 18th from 10 AM-5 PM. Beverly Heritage Day is free (except food and craft items for sale) but donations are appreciated. \nFun and learning for all ages! \nLiving history\, primitive encampments\, artisan demonstrations\, educational lectures\, live music\, interactive games for kids\, food vendors\, Early Settler’s Reunion\, and more. Special guests include the WVU Fife and Drum Corps and National Endowment for the Arts National Heritage Fellow Gerry Milnes. \nSCHEDULE: \n10 AM – Welcome with WVU Mountaineer Fifes & Drums Corps \n10:15 – The Declaration Comes to Beverly on Horseback \n!0:30 AM – 5 PM Ongoing Activites Around Town \n11 AM – Larry Jent – Indigenous Roots Program \n11 AM – Settlers Reunion Opens at IOOF \n11:30 AM – Mrs. Morgan – Organ Music \nNoon – Fair Play – Acoustic Music \n1 PM – WVU Fifes and Drums Corps \n2 PM – Gerry Milnes – Frontier Homes Program \n3 PM – Settler’s Reunion Gathering at IOOF \n3:30 PM – Mark Rutherford – Westfall Family \n4 PM – Steven Hart – Hart Family \nFood by Ging’s Rolls and Pancit\, Crazy Kate’s Kettle Corn\, and The Southern Kitchen available 11 AM – 3 PM \nForging Liberty Exhibit at the Laura Jackson-Arnold House all day \nLiving history and encampments all day \nTours of historic properties and renovation projects including the Collett House\, 1841 Jail\, Subscription School\, Randolph County Musuem\, and Beverly Heritage Center Museum all day \nShuttle service available starting at 9:30 AM \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n
