Appalachian Craftsmanship: Where Contemporary Meets Heritage. This new art exhibit highlights the history of utilitarian artforms in Randolph County, WV, and connects these elements of the past with current local makers. Explore the evolving story of Appalachian craftsmanship across decades of change by diving into the region’s relationship with hand, material, and place. Featuring ceramics, lutherie, textiles, and smithing. The exhibit will be on display from August 29-November 18, 2026. Opening reception with artist talks and light refreshments is Saturday, August 29th from 3-5 PM. Live music with Fair Play to follow starting at 5:30 PM outside on the lawn. FREE.
