Join us in supporting and improving the Beverly Heritage Center!
The Beverly Heritage Center is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that relies on memberships, donations, and private support for our daily operations, our interactive programming, and the conservation and care of our historic buildings and artifacts. We need your help to continue the work we do. Your tax-deductible contribution or membership will help ensure for now and the future that Beverly’s stories will continue to be told.
Become a member
As a Beverly Heritage Center member you will get the opportunity to help preserve Beverly’s heritage while receiving free admission to the BHC museum. Annual price is $25 individual, $40 family (4 people). BHC members are also entitled to discounts at many ticketed events. BHC members will also be voting members of Historic Beverly Preservation. And most importantly, you get the satisfaction of knowing you’re helping to support the preservation and commemoration of the history and culture of Beverly and Rich Mountain Battlefield.
The Beverly Heritage Center provides museum, visitor center, events and more to tell the story of our heritage, encourage heritage tourism for community development, and to benefit the local community. Your donation will help to support programs and exhibits, care for our collections, events, educational outreach, and more. As a visitor center, BHC welcomes visitors and provides information for them to enjoy and learn about Beverly, Rich Mountain Battlefield, and the heritage of Randolph County. We also are responsible for maintaining and preserving the four historic buildings that make up the BHC. All of this takes time, effort, and funds for programming, preservation and operations. We count on your donations to keep improving the Beverly Heritage Center!
Volunteer
The Beverly Heritage Center relies on many volunteers behind the scenes and in the public eye to assist with needed tasks that make our daily operations a success.
Volunteers can help greet visitors at the front desk or by giving tours, help out with special events like Heritage Days or Old Fashioned Christmas, be period dress docents, help keep the facility clean and grounds maintained, assist with archiving or exhibits, or many other tasks.
Whether you love our local history or just want to get involved in your community, we can pair you with a role that matches your skills and interests and helps fulfill our mission.
