Group Tours
We offer tours of the Museum and Rich Mountain Battlefield, as well as walking tours of Beverly.
Museum Tour
Option 1: This option includes the Beverly Heritage Center which combines four historic buildings and a modern gallery into one facility, with an award-winning museum telling the significant stories of our area. Exhibit Docents will be available to point the way and answer questions. $5 per person. Please allow one and a half hours.
Option 2: This option includes the BHC and the Randolph County Museum. Exhibit Docents will be available to point the way, answer questions, and help you discover the town for yourself. $7 per person. Please allow two hours.
Rich Mountain Battlefield Tour
Explore the site of one of the earliest Union victories of the Civil War. Local guides will show you Confederate trenches and rock carvings from this pivotal battle. $12 per person. Please allow at least three hours.
Walking Tours
Themed walking tours of the Beverly Historic District are available by request pending staff availability. Some of the many themed tours that we have offered in the past include Women of Beverly, Lost Beverly, African-Americans of Beverly, Architecture Tour, Beverly Cemetery Tour, and more. $10 per person. Please allow at least one and a half hours.
Food Options
- Box Lunch including meat or veggie sandwich with condiments, pasta salad, fruit, cookie, and drink.
- Buffet Lunch at the Beverly Heritage Center or Rich Mountain Battlefield.
- Dinner at the Beverly Heritage Center.
