Fundraiser Alert! Thanks to a generous donation from our friend (and world renowned luthier) Bob Smakula of Smakula Fretted Instruments, we’re selling raffle tickets for this beautiful fretless banjo. The instrument is part of our upcoming heritage arts exhibit, “Appalachian Craftsmanship,” which connect heritage arts with contemporary makers.

The show will be on display from August 29 – November 18, 2026. Raffle drawing is November 20th. Tickets are on sale at the BHC front desk or online at THIS LINK now through mid-November.

1 ticket for $5 or 5 tickets for $20.

We prefer that the winner to pick up the banjo from the Beverly Heritage Center, but we are willing to ship it at no additional cost to the contiguous 48 states. A big thank you to Bob for that, too!

Anyone outside of the contiguous 48 states is responsible for their own shipping costs.
