Lantern Tour on Oct. 12
Join us in October for our historic Beverly Lantern Tours! Our host, Karl, takes us on a nighttime walking tour of Beverly with only the light of lanterns to guide our way. Hear the spooky and mysterious side of Beverly – including some tales from local history and legend. Tours 7pm on October 11, 12, 18, and 19 (limited spots per tour, so we recommend purchasing tickets in advance) We ask guests to check in at the Beverly Heritage Center prior to 7 PM, and dress appropriately for the weather and temperatures past sundown. Old Fashioned Christmas
Come one, come all! Join the Beverly community for Christmas traditions across time. From 10am to 5pm, come to the Beverly Heritage Center for free crafts and treats! Meet Father Christmas between 12 and 4pm! We will host local craft vendors throughout the day so you can support local businesses and pick up some holiday gifts while you’re here. Join children’s storytime in the Beverly Branch library at 10am, and enjoy special open hours 10am to 12pm. Linger for holiday carols 11am to 1pm! Beverly Heritage Day
Centuries of History – Traditions for Today 10 am- 5 pm Activities and Living History Open. 11 am Parade of History 11:30 Lunch and Pie and Cake Sale Planned events during the day will include a History Parade, Encampments from various eras (Frontier, War of 1812, Civil War, WWII), a History Alive presentation, Civil War Art Show at the Arnold House, Music, Clogging, Fiber Arts Demonstrations, and Food sales including Lunch and a Pie and Cake Sale (more details and times will be added soon!)
